Getting dirty money out of Democratic Primaries
The intent of this effort is to get dark money out of NM Democratic Primaries. We are following the lead of the AZ Dem Party and the NC Dem Party who have passed similar resolutions. And the DNC passed a similar resolution in August! Here is the NM resolution:

Sara Attleson, Chair of the NM Dem Party, supports this effort and has agreed to appoint the ad hoc committee to examine the existing rules and regulations of the NM Dem Party and make recommendations for changes to accomplish our goal.

Grant County Democrats help feed those in need
With the need going up from 800 to now 1,200 families monthly, Grant County Democrats are stepping up to feed the hungry in Silver City. Presenting a check for $900 to The Commons in Silver City are (below left, left to right): With The Commons, Weston Metzler, Pantry Support Assistant, Jennifer Metzler, Senior Programs manager, Sophie Klaus, PR Manager, and Barbara Bush, Grant County Democratic Party Chair. To volunteer or donate call The Commons at 575-388-2988.
Grant County Democrats are also helping strengthen the Mining District’s local food system with a $750 contribution to the Frontier Food Hub.The donation will help support the purchase of produce from local farms. Beginning in February 2026, General membership meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month. We are currently looking for a new permanent location. Potluck at 5:30 PM, Meetings begin at 6:30. All Grant County registered Democrats are welcome to attend and participate. Check this site for updates and/or changes.
